the colours used in this painting are complementary colours if you noticed that ^^
red vs green
orange vs blue
this way, everything will stand out in its own way, without stealing the limelight of the other objects.
the flower is about the golden ratio? there are swirls coming out of the rose. the swirls may be the materialized form of the aroma a flower gives? its up to your intrepretation as there were no deep meaning behind this work. but the theme for this work is : nature. this was done on a small canvas, after painting, a fixer was used to give it the shiny surface. then the clock hands were installed. it took about 2-3 weeks to complete this work!
this clock does work, it's in my house now!
