VIVACE 2012 WAS DA BOMB!!!!!
when i first got the call that i wa sin OG29, was kinda sad cause i don't know anyone in there and there were some people whom i heard not so good things about, furthermore, jy,lynn,zhiyi,leanne,en were all in OG24! how depressing is that?
so the first day of orientation was quite boring for me, don't really remember much, i guess we played dry games? but i didn't really participate much :/ I'm not the kind who easily makes new friends, i guess i appear v dao and seldom take the initiative to talk to people but I'm really nice!!(hahahahahahha) when I'm familiar with people already. can't remember what we played... oh we had SODACHE also, the batch dance -____- stumped. seriously. i can't dance for nuts hahahah so i paired with xindi the first day and we were so squashed we just stood on the spot and tried to learn the dance. btw its a boy-girl partner dance but not enough boys so i get to pair w xindi :) enjoyed the song and cheer session. really love the hwa chong spirit!!! OHOH, HAHA I REMEMBER WE LOST ALL GAMES EXCEPT 1 AND DRAWED WITH ANOTHER OG FOR ANOTHER GAME okay /edit we plead captains ball. guy and girl tie their wrist together and play captains ball only girls can shoot. lost this game but its alright!
okay so on to day 2. it was dry and wet games but it rained in the morning and i was kinda worried we won't get to play the wet games but the councilors changed the schedule so it was SODACHE first. song was nice again, just that it became more chinese-y. haha more chinese songs to sing and the songs are really nice and some were even passed down from generation to generation! makes me feel so touched that hwa chong spirit's so strong!!! this round for dance, i paired with zhixuan. his damn big. part 2 of the dance was horrifying. it started getting more and more tough and theres this hand thing that until now i still don't really get it. i think we succeeded once then failed the rest hahahahahaha its just too fast and complicated for someone like me :( but nonetheless it was still fun. my very first time dancing w a guy. interesting and fun experience. it was kinda awkward at first cause we didn't talk but somehow it was okay? but still awkward haha. next was cheer.. i think we didn't really cheer much or we never cheered at all then we proceeded to the games cause the whether became good! (yay)
first was the chinese chess game, kinda boring cause it sorta depends on luck i guess, lost this game i can't remember all the games :/ we played tripod, a water game got really wet but it was still fun. the girls were the ones running w the sponge while the guys took turns to support a bucket with one leg and the leg can't be bent. not sure whether its tough cause gradually the bucket became full but good job og29 cause we won that game!!!! like finally!! haha but winnings not important, its the time we spent as an OG. then we had another game in the hall where 2person carry 1 person and the 1 person has to snatch caps from another team. so basically it was guys carry girls. i played the last round and had 2 girls carrying me hehe, I'm quite light okay, like 43? or 44? i think thats light luh. anyway thanks huahua and ulanda!!!!!!! managed to draw this game if I'm not wrong! yay! the guys were v strong and buff. they had to carry the girls and run around. super impressed hahaha oh sometimes the guys carried guys too, i guess its cause the girls aren't that violent? zhixuan and boyu carried ulanda!!!!!!!!! super strong! and ulanda was damn good! haha all the sporty people! then we had the 'in-your-face-game' dk whats it called haha but its a SUPER WET game. didn't play this cause i didn't wanna get splashed like this the guys played and got drenched like really drenched. lost this game! dodgeball game was last, won this game? not sure. but ziron gave a very bad impression of himself. zz
when everything was over we had to paint the banner so we went over to BTA and waited for our turn. then we played 老鹰捉小鸡 and the running game. haha so fun but poor guys who were standing at the back of the row had to run like mad then we painted the banner with our handprints and took a group shot and i went for class :( so sad i couldn't attend the first OG dinner :((((((
okay so day 3, our last day as in OG. trust me this OG thingy gets better and better but when we just became closer its already our last day. too short!!!!!! okay so SODACHE's first again. song was cool as usual. dance i was paired w samuel. he's more awkward than zhixuan? didn't really take any initiative. i had to hold on to his hand if not the dance wouldn't work... but as it went on he opened up a little but still kinda shy? cheer was fun but somehow, i got pushed to the back during dance and ended up at the back of the row so cheer wasn't as fun cause everyone behind wasn't cheering :[ next wet games!!! (I LOVE WET GAMESSSS HAHAHAHA) okay had soap hockey first. faced yeetat's group. we won!!! thanks to medric hockey pro. he basically scored nearly every turn!!!!!!! really fun, had a try and managed to score one. our next game was slippery slope!!! i love this game! even though we didn't win but it was still fun, probably the best game in the entire orientation? really challenging, one boy pair w one girl with their wrist tied together. paired w zhixuan again, he's actually quite a nice guy. so no pair in our group conquered the slope except for boyu-chloe pair haha congratulations to them! haha. chen yuan was damn pro, vanessa kept slipping(not her fault cause it was really really slippery) but somehow chen yuan's damn stable like there was so soap on this ground or sth and he managed to pull vanessa up so many times! i went twice and fell both times lol. slipped the first time but zhixuan used this leg to sort of catch and hold me so i don't slide all the way down (cause we were on all fours so his knee sort of saved me but i ended up slipping again and pulling him down so sorry! the guys were very gentlemanly! they all 'protected' the girls when they fall down the slope which was kinda cool! lost this as well but super fun! then we played another game at the zen garden area, not fun -____- next was duck duck goose game, won that round. i sorta guessed joan will pour the water on me hahaha lucky she run wrong direction haha then i poured my cup on xinda and managed to get her out of the game hahahahhahahaha, she also knew that i was gonna pour water on her haha then lastly we had the scissors paper stone game, kept forgetting to let others splash me :( felt so bad cause it seemed like i was cheating sigh anyway that concludes orientation and we had OG dinner
OG dinner was v fun, ate a little at the college section then cause the school had to be closed we moved to the 2nd floor of the clock tower at high school section. view was amazing and we talked and laughed as an OG. somehow i felt like i didn't participate much during the dinner but i really enjoyed the company. gotta go now but i hope we'll continue to meet up as an OG. kinda sad that OG orientation is over but excited to know my CT!
in all, i wanna say thank you to OG29 for the wonderful memories and fun times!
