okay so i've checked, my comp's totally down. crashed

argh i rather blog using my comp, no sense of security using a laptop -__-

okay anyway, decided to upload phone photos, camera photo's (if have any) will be uploaded only after my comp's fixed :((

sigh love the architecture.

i've always wondered why singapore cant have such buildings, like maybe the fullerton? or the supreme court building? but slightly more fancy!!! nowadays all we see are glass and metal skyscrapers!! okay thats cool also if its like the gherkin or the shard or something by Renzo Piano (he designed the Central Saint Giles too! the colourful exterior building we saw during the green tour in uk gcp!! but sadly it's not really selling well but if its in SG i bet it'll sell well)

and i took this using my phone from my cam (okay that sounds stupid but i like the pic so wanted a copy on my phone)

that also explains why its a little blur but i like it like this :)

i like taking pics in the uk, the sky is always so blue~ maybe sg's sky's like that also just that i dont really realise :/ but i do know the morning sky's v nice (i live in the east, nice sunrise every morn ^^)

oh btw, this place is haunted. haha by 3 female ghosts and im telling the truth

and this is a church. nice sky right?!?! it looks nice and warm but it was DAMN COLD that day. the wind was blowing and i was freezing -___- my hot pasta turned cold super fast

this is random but i tried doing leopard prints on my nails using different colour! when my nails were long after i came back from the uk cause i didnt bring a nail clipper there. couldnt stand long nails so i cut it soon after i did this haha long nails= larger surface!!!

gonna try something else next time

its not v obvious okay maybe its obvious to me only hahaha. well the left side, the first pic is straighter and larger, so i erased it and his forhead at the left side is a little more curved. tried to make the shadow parts smaller though :/

so unsatisfied with the left i covered it. hahahah so this is the right only, i think its a little more obvious who he is like this

the blending's not that perfect im trying to improve

i dont know how he did those invisible blending @^%$&@$& jealous -____- and full of admiration

sigh such nice drawings! just continue doing art (inserts angry face) but i doubt he will quit doing art as in even if he's not taking art he'll continue doing art in his spare time and thats good :)

oh anyway, this practice sketch, THE HAIR. OMGGGG SO TIRING but fun cause i didnt really follow the picture, it was too hard (surrenders) so i randomly did the hair. why must he have so much highlights?! why????!?!?!! i tried, i really tried following the pic but its impossible! (for me) so i just drew my own version of the hair LOL hope its okay

next time i'm gonna try another person hehe excited excited!!!

i was bored in lecture and this happened ...

if you zoom in, i dont know how, you can see tiny details! in the clump of swirls theres an owl and a weird alien figure, spot it if you can~

this was taken using my phone when i went malaysia with my cousins. this is a boat ride in the evening so catch a glimpse of the fireflies (super pretty, its like a huge christmas tree, except the lights are smaller, more packed, and prettier!)

pencil shading as per normal, as usual, pencil shadings are difficult... cause i cant seem to control my pressure very well. well this means i need to practice more ://

opps, forgot to rotate these two drawing/painting
both are the same piece of folded paper, except one is black and white (pencil) another is coloured (acrylic) the painted version is the actual colour of the paper. the shadows were not done properly cause i think i kinda got restless :/ im satisfied with the blending though its not smooth blending, that's cause this isnt water colour painting, its acrylic, so its harder to blend. whatsmore, its yellow paper!!!! i find it difficult to paint the shadows, because you dont want to dirty the yellow with black, and if you use black to 'shade' the folds of the paper, its too harsh, so i used purple mixed with yellow, since their complementary colours, its perfect for painting the creases

these are some prep work for my coursework, my theme will be on animals :)
2 different angle of the hawksbill turtle. both are done already but i have yet to take picture.
did 2 drawings on tiger, 2 on turtle, 1.5 on  elephant, 1 incomplete (in the process of drawing) deer, still have a lot more to draw!!!! then its composition time, then followed by medium selecting/testing of mediums then the final artwork!!!!!!
hope it turns out nice at the end of the year

painting on a4 watercolour paper.
this is sort of like a test sheet, thought i prefer the proportions here
i like all the faces except the top right corner :/
mix of different interesting colours, forgot the name but its some olive greenish colour, vermillion/red and ultramarine. used loads of water.
overall, i seem to prefer this piece

gouache, zig makers, white pen, black markers, charcoal etc/mixed media / a4 watercolour paper/ 2011
rushed this out in 3 hrs
maybe its cause theres a lack of time, which explains the proportion -___-
used gouache, with lesser water, so the colour is darker, well the contrast is better here then. the top left looks like a Chinese girl, then bottom left looks like an Indian girl, the top right probably a Caucasian? the bottom right ... i dont know.
used a variety of medium here. its not clear but theres this flower/wheat grain/ like thing (same as the drawing on the chinese worksheet) in white pen in the background. its very fine, so it may not be clear here, and when it overlaps into the face, it becomes coloured. charcoal is used to darken the sides and shadow (a little), got the face dirty :( enjoyed this painting process, kinda interesting~ no main theme :/ okay i shall make on up now. theme is on women. hahaha, different women?(cause it looks as if theres diff races ) mysterious me? (theres no distinct colour on the face, so its hard to tell if it belongs to a specific person. its kinda like just shadows)

a nice picture taken at the eco pond. i like how everything is still in this photo and that the pond's surface reflects the image of the building plus the trees.

this is a picture taken at the cross section at the heritage corner and general office. the black thing in the centre is the field. kinda get the picture?

this is a picture of nanyang, taken from the canteen, across the quadrangle. it was raining on that day so the floors reflect the building's architecture. its a very pretty photo. cause its negative and positive, it looks as if its a scene of nanyang in the dark night. its silent and still, yet magnificent~
